Refund policy

Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns for full-priced items within 7 days of delivery, provided that:

• The item is unused, unwashed, unworn, and in original condition

• All tags, packaging, and accessories remain attached

• A proof of purchase is provided 

Sale or discounted items are final and cannot be returned or refunded.

 

Special Items – Fur, Leather & Exclusive Pieces

For premium items like fur, leather garments, or limited-release pieces, we will only accept returns if:

The item has not been worn or altered, and

Protective wrapping and tags remain intact. 

Due to the delicate nature of these materials, any signs of wear, stretching, makeup transfer, or fragrance will lead to a declined return. Change-of-mind returns are not accepted for these items.

 

How to Request a Return

To request a return, please email us at herclosetaus@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving your order.

Include:

• Your order number

• The item(s) you wish to return

• Reason for return 

Once approved, we will provide the return address details.

 

Return Shipping

• Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and any associated duties or fees.

• We recommend using a trackable delivery service. HerCloset.au is not responsible for lost parcels during return transit.

 

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, you will be notified via email if your refund is approved or rejected.

• If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.

• Shipping fees are non-refundable. 


Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges.

If you would like a different size or item, please process a return following the above steps and place a new order. 


Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive an incorrect or faulty item, please:

Include photos and your order number.

If we confirm it's faulty, we will offer a replacement or a full refund, including shipping. 

Minor variations in color, texture, or appearance may occur due to natural materials; these are not considered defects. 


Delivery Address

Make sure all delivery information is complete and accurate. We cannot redirect parcels once they have been shipped.

 

Pre-order Items (if applicable)

If your order has a pre-order item, we will ship the entire order once all items are available. You will find estimated dispatch times on the product page. 


Conscious Shopping – Change of Mind

We encourage careful purchasing. Since most of our pieces are curated in limited quantities, we do not accept change-of-mind returns. Please reach out to us for personalized styling or sizing help before you buy.

Each item is hand-selected in small amounts. To keep quality and garment integrity, we do not allow change-of-mind returns.
